Overview

The CFA is a two-day skill building program that teaches Master’s prepared nurses the necessary skills to become clinical faculty members at local nursing programs.

 

 

What Will I Gain?

As a clinical educator, you can help train the next generation of nurses. Through the Clinical Faculty Academy, you will gain the following:

 

    Knowledge and skills essential for success in an adjunct clinical faculty role

 

    A support network for adjunct clinical educators

 

    Stronger connections between clinical practice sites and academic environments

 

Registration Information

The cost to attend the CFA is $195 per participant.  This fee includes breakfast and lunch both days, and all course materials.

Registration includes entering information on the MCHC web page, and then continuing to Survey Monkey for additional registration data.  You will receive an email confirmation.

  

Advanced registration is required, and registrations are due no later than Friday, July 23, 2010.  (A login name with password are needed to register online.  If you do not have one, please select "Create a Login" before starting the registration process.)

Accreditation

Saint Xavier University School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.   This two-day program is approved for 12.5 CNE contact hours.
